Item: I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Vick five shillings to him & his heirs forever

Item: I give and bequeath to my son James Vick five shillings to him & his heirs forever.

After paying my debts & legacies aforementioned I lend to my Sarah Vick all the 
residue of my estate during her widowhood, and after her death or marriage I 
Give & bequeath all my estate that is not before given to be equally divided amongst 
my three Children namely Parks Nicolson, Richard & Rebecca to them & their 
heirs forever __ And my desire is that if either of my three children shoud [sic] die 
before they arive to age or without issue, that all I have given to such deceas'd 
Child or Children shall remain to the survivor or survivors of the said three 
children equally to be divided and to their heirs forever

My desire is also that as my wife is to have the profits of my estate that 
she shall Support & Educate my children out of the same.

Lastly, I do constitute my friend Micajah Halliman Exor & my Sarah Vick 
Extx of this my Last Will & Testament   In Witness whereof I have hereunto set 
my hand & seal this 13 day of September 1793.

Tho W. Clements } the 15th day of April 1796  This Will was presented 
in court by Sarah Vick the Extrx therein named proved by the oaths of 
Noel Waddill & Josiah Murfee two of the witnesses thereto & Ordered to be 
recorded   And on the motion of the said Extrx who made oath according to 
law certificate is granted her for obtaining a probat thereof in due form 
giving security.  Whereupon &c.

I Cordal Drake of Southampton County Virginia being sick and weak of 
body but of sound and perfect mind and memory, knowing the uncertainty of this
transitory live do think proper to make this my last will and testament in manner 
and form following __

First: I leave and bequeath unto my beloved wife Polly Drake the use and profits of all 
my plantations and lands until her death and no longer.  I then after the decease of my
wife Polly Drake give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Polly Drake my aforesaid 
plantations and lands to her and to heir heirs forever,\ but if she should die without lawfull 
heir of her own body, I then give devise and bequeath my aforesaid plantation and lands 
to be equally divided between my brothers Silas Drake and Arthur Drake & their heirs forever.

Secondly: my just debts being first paid, I give to my loving wife Polly Drake all the remaining part 
of my estate of every kind until her death  after her death I give and bequeath the afore
said remainder part of my estate unto my daughter Polly Drake & to her heirs forever but 
if she should die before her mother I then give and bequeath the aforesaid remainder 
part of my estate to my wife Polly Drake and to her heirs forever.

Lastly: I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife Polly Drake my whole 
& sole Executrix to this my Last Will and Testament,  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set
